Dermal Fillers in Walnut Creek

Dermal fillers in Walnut Creek can restore support, soften selected folds, and refine facial proportions without surgery.
I personally perform every injection, only after we have had a consultation. The consultation is where I come to understand your concerns and where we agree on a plan for how to proceed. We will talk about what you would like to improve, what should stay as it is, and the best way to get the natural results you have in mind. We will decide together whether fillers are the right choice for you.

What Dermal Filler Is
Dermal fillers are smooth injectable gels that restore volume and support where the face has lost it. Most are made with hyaluronic acid, a substance your skin already contains naturally, which is also what makes most fillers reversible. Different fillers have different thicknesses and features, and that is why choosing the right one for the right area matters. Calcium hydroxylapatite, or CaHA, is a different filler material suspended in a gel carrier. Cleveland Clinic explains these material categories and their broad duration ranges.
The material is only one part of the decisions. Product characteristics, placement depth, tissue thickness, movement, prior filler, and the amount of structural support needed all influence the plan. I use the consultation to decide whether the goal calls for subtle softening, added projection, contour support, or no injection at all, to make sure we have chosen the best plan of action for your goals. Sometimes what you are hoping for is not necessarily obtainable by filler injection, or by the filler you have in mind. In that case, I will let you know what procedure or intervention will get you closest to your goals.

Midface volume and contour — a significant part of my filler practice.
I also treat the under-eye area, temples, neck and hands. We can discuss any of these at consultation.
For preparation and recovery details, see the filler pre- and post-care instructions. The existing arnica before lip fillers guidance is also available for clients who want to discuss bruising preparation.
The Filler Lines Available at Beau Visage: Juvederm, Radiesse and More
I work with four product families: RHA, Juvéderm, Radiesse, and Belotero. RHA, Juvéderm, and Belotero include hyaluronic-acid formulations. Radiesse uses calcium hydroxylapatite. The names are not interchangeable, and the product selected for one area may be unsuitable for another client or goal.
Manufacturer information for the RHA Collection describes several formulations for dynamic facial wrinkles and folds. The official Radiesse site describes its CaHA composition and product-specific indications. I use current labeling, examination, and clinical judgment rather than choosing by brand familiarity alone. Naming a product on this page is not a recommendation for any individual.
What Can Go Wrong, and How I Reduce That Risk
Filler treatment depends on anatomy, not just aesthetics.
The FDA identifies unintended injection into a blood vessel as the most concerning complication; reported outcomes can include tissue death, vision abnormalities, blindness, or stroke. Common short-term reactions include swelling, bruising, redness, pain, and tenderness. Before I treat you, I review your medical history, your medications, any prior injections, what you are hoping for, and the warnings specific to the product I plan to use. If I am not confident the treatment is right for you, I will tell you.
Serious vascular complications are rare. In the largest published study — 370 board-certified physician injectors and 1.7 million syringes, published in JAMA Dermatology — a vascular occlusion occurred about once per 6,400 syringe injections, and 85 percent of those resolved without any lasting effect. Prompt recognition and treatment matter, which is one reason I plan every injection around the anatomy first.
Let’s Talk Before You Decide

These six existing comparison widgets show results from prior Beau Visage Aesthetics cases. They are examples, not predictions. Individual anatomy, product choice, amount used, and response to treatment differ.
What Dermal Filler Costs
Pricing depends on the product, number of syringes, and whether one or several areas are treated. Beau Visage publishes current dermal filler packages and pricing. I will explain the proposed plan and cost before you decide whether to proceed; the consultation is not a commitment to treatment.
